Khichdi With Gajar

Ingredients                                 

Rice, soaked 2 tablespoons

Split skinless green gram (moong dal), soaked  2 tablespoons  

Carrot, grated ½ small

Salt to taste

Method

  1. Put the rice and dal in a pan.  Add one cup of water and salt.  Cover and cook for three to four minutes.
  2. Add carrot and cover and cook till everything is completely soft.
  3. Mash with a hand blender, cool slightly and feed the baby.
