Abhishek Bahchan and Sonam Kapoor have left no stone unturned to promote Delhi 6, attending events and talking to media.
According to Abhishek, he had been desperately waiting for a chance to work with director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. "Rakeysh and I have been trying to work together for 12 years now," he informs. "And it is wonderful that we finally got the chance with Delhi 6. It's a film I am very proud of," the star son said.
Talking about the popularity of the song Masakali in the film, the film's leading lady Sonam Kapoor says, "It's wonderful that the song is doing very well. And that it's such a hit. Being called Masakali by the audience is a sign of their affection."
When asked about the novel dance steps in the song Genda Phool, Abhishek jokes, "We didn't have a choreographer for the song Genda Phool. Rakeysh wanted something very spontaneous. He said I'll just play the music and you can do whatever you want. And unfortunately that's the only step I could think of."
Rakeysh OmPrakash Mehra is back with his new film about a man discovering his roots.
