Actress Genelia D'Souza won many hearts when her second innings in Bollywood began with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. However, many must be unaware that Genelia had never considered acting as a career option.

"Acting as a career was never an option for me. Acting just happened to me by chance and after coming in the industry, I fell in love with it," Genelia reveals in a conversation with trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

Genelia confesses that she had never even thought of modeling or appearing in advertisements. She narrates a funny incident. "Someone had asked for my photo from my portfolio and I handed him a photo where I am cutting a birthday cake," she laughs. However, today Genelia feels she wouldn't like to do anything else other than acting.
