Bollywood actor Chunky Pandey is desperate to do negative and romantic roles. Not enamored of playing comic roles, Chunky plans to stop acting in comedy films after Priyadarshan's De Dhana Dhan and Sajid Khan's House Full.
Suyash Pandey better known as Chunky Pandey made his Bollywood debut in 1987, with the movie Darrar. Chunky's first big hit was the film Tezaab that also starred Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit. Chunky was nominated as the best supporting actor at the Filmfare awards for his role in the movie. Chunky's work in the movies Aankhen, Paap Ki Duniya, Lootere and Vishwatma was appreciated.
Chunky Pandey married Bhavna in 1991. The couple has two daughters.
Chunky owns the company Bombay Electric that handles Bollywood stage shows. Chunky's wife and mother, who is a nutritionist, run a restaurant in Mumbai.
After failing to create a niche for himself in Bollywood, Chunky Pandey started acting in Bangladeshi movies in 1998. Chunky's first hit film was Shami Keso Ana Mi. He went on to act in several Bangladeshi movies and achieved stardom in that country.
After this, Pandey returned to Bollywood and did comic roles in movies like Apna Sapna Money Money, Fool and Final, Daddy Cool, Shortkut-The Con Is On and De Dana Dan.
Chunky has also appeared on reality shows like Star One's Zara Nach Ke Dikha as a judge.
