Ever since Katrina Kaif has stepped into the movie industry, she has taken independent decisions, even though one would have expected her to take advice from her more experienced beau Salman Khan.

Whether it was signing films with Akshay Kumar, or with Salman's arch rival John Abraham, Katrina has not let biases rule her career decisions. Today she is vying for the top slot in Bollywood.

Movie Story

When the Kat purrs, everybody takes notice. Only a few movies old, Katrina Kaif has already occupied the No. 1 position in Bollywood, dislodging the ice queen, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Having already worked with established directors, she attributes much of her success to the directors she works with and regards the director as the captain of the ship.
Initially hesitant to work with new directors, Kat is now open to work with the new breed of filmmakers.

Katrina has already signed up with veteran directors -- Prakash Jha and Raj Kumar Santoshi who are making Rajneeti and Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahaani respectively.
