Film critic Joginder Tuteja says that G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra has action at every possible zone in the planet. There are fights taking place in the air, battles on the ground and underwater chases. There are also simulated fight sequences.

Each of the sequences unfolds in a comic book manner. Credit must go to the special effects team that makes the film a visually spectacular affair, says the film critic.

The story is based in France and the plot revolves around a military organization taking on an evil organization.
