Mukul Taneja's Moksh2Attain launched its first film Ek Cutting Chai at Shubham Villa, Madh Island. The entire cast and crew were present on the occasion.
"Ek Cutting Chai is the reality of Mumbai," said director Dinkar Rao. "It's about how everyone starts their life. We are depicting reality in an entertaining form. I think this should be a very pertinent subject today," Rao adds.
Hridaya Redkar said, "My role is that of a girl who is a house assistant. The balcony of the house where she works overlooks a tea stall and that is how she falls in love with Chotu, the chaiwala. The entire film is set in a time frame of two to three days."
Ek Cutting Chai stars Umesh Pherwani, Hridaya Redkar and Manika Thanda, and is directed by Dinkar Rao.
The film is the maiden production of Mukul Taneja's Moksh2Attain and is set in the heart of Mumbai. The film has its roots in the metro and talks about the city's ability to rise like a phoenix with every cutting chai, so to speak.
