Failure to Launch – Matthew McConaughey in a Romantic Comedy

Story:-

Tripp (Matthew McConaughey) though thirty something, has not yet found the guts to take a flight out of his pastures. This extreme sports enthusiast happily stays with his parents. Tripp's relationships never lasted too long. Just when any relationship gets serious, he uses his 'living with parents' situation to get out of it. Tripp's father Al (Terry Bradshaw) and his mother Sue (Kathy Bates), after years of subtle nagging, finally resort to serious measures to get rid of Tripp so that they can enjoy their sundown days in peace. With some reluctant recommendation from a friend, they hire Paula (Sarah Jessica Parker) who through her professional expertise has to motivate Tripp to move out. Paula uses her 'tried and tested' techniques to make Tripp fall in love with her. Paula also sets up Tripp's friend Ace (Justin Bartha) with her sardonically humorous roommate Kit (Zooey Deschanel) as an incentive for not letting Trip know about her true intentions. Paula however discovers a few things about Tripp's past and is surprised at the fact that Tripp is so different from the rest of her clients. She is smitten by Trip's charm and develops genuine feelings for him. Just when everything is going smooth, Tripp gets to know about Paula and her unusual assignment; and his extremely upset. Will Tripp and Paula live separate at this note or will they be happy ever after?
