Story:-

Raj (Ranbir Kapoor) is a free spirited adventurer and a dreamer. His sense of adventure takes him to a romantic, scenic town in Shimla. The romantic imagery of the town kindles his spirit and inner artist. Raj decides to settle down. The town has a surreal atmosphere attached to it with a community of artists, singers, lively singing clubs and chants emanating from the monastery. The mood in town seems perfect for Raj. Suddenly one day at a bridge, he comes across Sakina (Sonam Kapoor). Sakina is mystifying, melancholic and introvertish. She seems to guard her past very strongly. Their chance meeting turns into friendship, which blossoms into romance. Raj becomes completely besotted with Sakina. While Sakina feels comfortable enough to share her intimate past with him. But she doesn't reciprocate his love, which drives Raj into a dizzy spin of obsession, madness and desire.
