Shilpa Shetty has met literally every important personality in London. Right from the Queen to Tony Blair, and now even Prince Charles.
The actress managed to raise almost half a million pounds at the British Asian Challenge Match played between Middlesex and The Rajasthan Royals at Lords on July 6. The proceeds of the charity went to Prince Charles's charity fund, and hence the meeting.
Of course, Shilpa still can't get over her luck yet.
Shilpa Shetty made her debut in Baazigar (1993) opposite Shah Rukh Khan, and has done more than 40 Hindi films besides Tamil, Telugu and Kannada projects. The actress is considered a great dancer, and has constantly reinvented herself during her career.
Shilpa Shetty's list of films include Dhadkan (2000) and Rishtey (2002), where her performance was appreciated. She also received good reviews for her role of an AIDS patient in Phir Milenge (2004). Her filmography includes Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994), Dus (1997), Pardesi Babu (1998), Lal Baadshah (1999), Badhaai Ho Badhaai (2002), Darna Mana Hai (2003), Life in a Metro (2007), and Apne (2007) among others.
Just when one thought Shilpa's career was going through a low phase, she was invited to take part in British reality TV show, Celebrity Big Brother, in 2007. Shilpa won the reality show hands down, and became a hot favorite with media and fans alike.
