Chaiyya chaiyya singer Sukhwinder Singh has come a long way. The singer was recently in limelight for his song Jai Ho! in the Oscar winning film Slumdog Millionaire. Reportedly, Sukhwinder is the highest paid singer in Bollywood today.

The singer recently recorded a song for Vishal Bhardwaj's film Kaminey. Commenting on the movie, he says, "This is the first time in my career that I am singing a song about a son's feelings for his  mother. I just read the chorus of the song and agreed to do it. It is a very emotional song and has been very well composed."

Movie Story

Kaminey is the parallel story of identical twins who are in their early twenties. Both are trying to leave their past lives behind in their own way and doing their best to move into a life of prosperity and dignity.

Both brothers are trying to protect themselves, their dreams and their love. Until they finally meet and realize that they have only each other to depend on.

Kaminey stars Shahid Kapoor in a double role. The much awaited film also stars Priyanka Chopra, and has been directed by Vishal Bhardwaj.
