Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh reviews Neil Nitin Mukesh and Bipasha Basu starrer Aa Dekhen Zara.

"An interesting story doesn't necessarily mean an interesting film," says Taran. "The story of Aa Dekhen Zara is great, and the film opens with a bang, but soon fizzles out. It could have been made into a great thriller, but the writers haven't done full justice to the story. The film becomes so confusing in the second half that you tend to lose interest."

Neil Nitin Mukesh was quite enthusiastic in his first film Johnny Gaddar, claims Taran, but that enthusiasm is missing in Aa Dekhen Zara. "But that is not Neil's fault," assures Taran. "The script fails to support him. Bipasha Basu's performance is just about okay. Rahul Dev is good. Overall, the film may do well in the first couple of days only," feels  Taran and gives the film a rating of two stars out of five.

Movie Story

Ray Acharya (Neil Nitin Mukesh) is a struggling photographer with a strange obsession of clicking pictures of anything and everything, including himself, whenever he travels.

Ray gets a camera from his grandfather which changes his life. While it wins him the love of Simi (Bipasha Basu), a DJ, it also sucks Ray into mysteriously and dangerous circumstances.

Is there some mysterious power behind the camera? Will Ray be able to keep his sanity in his race against fate?
