Story:-

'The Core' is a good example of how limitlessly the human mind can explore the area of imagination! The movie is about the catastrophic results that happen when the earth's core stops rotating for reasons, unseen and unknown. This unexplained phenomenon causes the planet's electromagnetic field to decline speedily. Weird incidents take place all over the world and the death rate rises to 32 people per second! Nature unleashes her power mercilessly and it marks the beginning of an uncontrolled calamity on earth! Geophysicist Dr Josh Keyes (Aaron Eckhart) with the best of the brilliant scientists, namely Dr Ed 'Braz' Brazzleton (Delroy Lindo), Dr Conrad Zimsky (Stanley Tucci), Dr Talma Stickley (Alfre Woodard), come upon a fine but potentially dangerous plan to prevent the extinction of the planet. They decide to travel to the core of the earth in a subterranean vehicle steered by 'Terranauts' Major Rebecca Childs (Hilary Swank) and Commander Robert Iverson (Bruce Greenwood) to detonate a nuclear tool. The scientists believe that this activity will reactivate the spinning motion of the core and restore normalcy on the planet. This outrageously risky mission of the team is the only chance to save the world from definite devastation!
