Joyous Faces and Splendid Clothes Make Navratri, a Festival to Cherish

Navratri festival spread over nine days, worships Goddess Shakti in all her forms which are Durga; the goddess of power, Lakshmi; the goddess of wealth and Saraswati; the goddess of knowledge. In addition to rituals, the devotees display devotion by dancing Garba Raas and Dandiya Raas.

The dancers perform the traditional dance of garba and dandia with renewed enthusiasm and fervor. Tradition meets modernity in this unique festival of song and dance that breaks down barriers of caste, creed and religion.
