Marathi Bhajan - Barva Vo

Hemant Manohar is passionate in music from a very young age. His father is a classical singer hence music has always been a part of his life and even while doing his degree in engineering he participated in various competition & won many awards. When he came to Mumbai he was under the guidance of the late Shri. Vasantrao Kulkarni, Uttamrao Agnihotri & Pt. Rajaram Shukla for classical & Prabhakar pandit for light classical. He has also learned urdu from known Phonologist Ibrahim Darvesh for Ghazal Singing The Swar Sadhana Samiti's 1st National Award for Best Singing came his way in 1987. He won two state Awards within the period of 3 year, 1984 to 1986. The Akashwani and Doordarshan have also honoured him. A Marathi Gazhal 'Tuzi Aathwan-Shravan Dhara' is still on Doordarshan which is also known since 1993. The Akashwani and doordarshan have also honoured him. Having done over 200 of them in which he sung for kathak Guru GopiKrishnaji, Roshankumarji & Odissey Guru Keluchran Mahapatra, Zelum Paranjpe. He also performed for various institutions all over India doing the solo performances of BHAJAN, GHAZAL & GEET”.
