Ek Adhoora Safar is a short film that pays tribute to Jagdish Sharma. Jagdish Sharma, known as Jaggi to his friends, directed television serials. Jaggi left for his heavenly abode on April 11, 2007. Director Ashish Bhatia chronicles Jaggi's life in Mumbai. He talks to some of the famous personalities who had worked with him and miss his presence still. Born on June 29, 1972 in Aligarh, Jaggi moved to Mumbai in 1995. He got into the television industry as a director with great directors like Raman Kumar and Anurag Basu. He had directed the acclaimed television series Sarrkar. The film also takes a look at Jagdish's life through old photographs and insights of his colleagues and friends such as actor Rohit Roy and director Anurag Basu. Even though Jaggi was considered to be a happy go lucky man, his friends admit living alone in a city like Mumbai took a toll. Finally it was his loneliness that got the better of him. The film attempts to bid farewell to a person who was loved by all, yet always found himself alone.
