Aug 18, 2009: Students pelted stones and set 11 bogies of Shramjeevi Express on fire at Bihta station in Bihar on Tuesday.
The students were angry after one of the student died in a clash with CRPF jawans who were traveling in the same train.
The CRPF jawans demanded tickets from the students, who produced monthly passes. However, they refused to accept the passes and asked the students to get down leading to clashes between them.
The Shramjeevi Express runs between Delhi and Patna.
On April 29, four people were killed and 11 others injured when an unidentified person drove an EMU out of Chennai railway station, which later collided with a goods train at Vysarpadi.
In July 2008, 32 passengers, including a pregnant woman were charred to death when fire broke out in the Kakinada-bound Gautami Express in Warangal district of Andhra Pradesh.
