Office goers and school children has a harrowing time reaching destination due to traffic snarls at major junctions due to water-logging in several areas including ITO, Connaught Place, Lakshmi Nagar, Kingsway Camp, R K Puram and South Extension. School buses were also stuck in traffic.
According to the officials at the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi received 6 mm of rainfall.
AIIMS, Ashram, Bhikaji Cama areas of Delhi witnessed maximum water-logging.
Non-functioning of traffic signals at some places also added to the problem.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 24.9 degree Celsius against yesterday's 25.6 degrees.
