Apr 1, 2009: Shah Rukh Khan set the ramp afire at Lakme Fashion Week on Monday in a way that showed it was not only acting he knew well.

Sporting a black-gold jacket and an Afghani salwar created by designer Manish Malhotra, Shah Rukh walked the ramp like a professional model.

The Bollywood superstar, widely cheered for the walk, also entertained the audience with his brand of humor during the show.

King Khan revealed secrets behind how to rock on the ramp and tickled funny bones saying he was asked to suck in his cheeks, pout lips and look angry while walking.    

SRK said he was also mentored by director-friend Karan Johar on walking.

Actors Kajol, Preity Zinta, Arjun Rampal and Kareena Kapoor were present among the spectators to cheer up Shah Rukh at the show.

Shah Rukh Khan is considered as the most popular actor of Bollywood.

Shah Rukh made his debut with film Deewana in 1992.

Since then Shah Rukh, also known as King Khan has ruled the box-office with many successful flicks like Darr, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Kal Ho Naa Ho.

SRK has 13 Filmfare Awards under his belt, seven of which he won in the Best Actor category.

Besides acting, Shah Rukh has also produced films and hosted popular TV shows like Kaun Banega Crorepati.
