Jun 19, 2009: Parents of the maid servant, who has leveled rape charges against Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja, on Friday demanded stringent punishment to the accused.

The victim's parents, who stay in Raigarh district, also dismissed as "false" statement of Shiney's former maid who had said that the victim was in love with the actor.

They alleged that the maid was given money by the Ahuja family to speak in their favor.

Background

Shiney Ahuja made his film debut with Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi (2003).

Gangster, Woh Lamhe (2006); Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) and Life in a Metro (2007) are some of his successful flicks.

He is married to Anupam and has a two-year-old daughter.
