IPL 2009:
Brendon McCullum and Brad Hodge propelled Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to a win over Chennai Super Kings in a nail biter on Monday.
Hodge, who was adjudged Man of the Match hit four boundaries and four sixers in his innings of 71 off 44 balls.
KKR have been able to register merely two wins in the second season of IPL.
On Tuesday, Delhi Daredevils takes on Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Delhi has already entered the semis.
Bhaichung Bhutia:
After Mohan Bagun issued a show cause notice to him for missing practice sessions, ace footballer Bhaichung Bhutia wants Bagan to release him.
Hamid Banjo Kasim:
Hamid Banjo Kasim, a key figure in the match fixing scandal of the year 2000, was seen during the IPL matches currently on in South Africa, raising question mark on the genuineness of the matches played during the second IPL season.
Kasim was the person who introduced the then South African captain Hansie Cronje to NRI bookie Sanjeev Chawla.
Pak Court Stays ICC Decision:
A Pakistan court has stayed the decision of the International Cricket Council (ICC) to relocate the World Cup 2011 secretariat to India from Lahore.
ICC had decided to relocate the Secretariat after Pakistan was dropped as a World Cup venue following security concerns.
England to Bid for 2018 World Cup:
After winning the bid to host 2012 Olympics, England is now bidding to host 2018 Football World Cup.
British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and footballer David Beckham officially launched country's bid to host 2018 World Cup.
