Aug 13, 2009: The Pune civic body had suggested Mexican like shutdown in the city, which has been the epicenter of swine flu in India.

 

It has suggested that the city be totally shut down for three days and a proposal in this regard has been forwarded to the state government and the Centre.

 

Already most of the markets in Pune have shut down.

 

Pune witnessed six deaths in last 24 hours.
