Jun 24, 2009: Not often one will emerge unscathed after a speeding vehicle hits him. A Turkey child, however, was fortunate enough to find himself unharmed after a car dashed him.

The incident occurred when the kid was standing outside a shop in a Turkey city.

Driver of the car, in an attempt to avoid a dog on street, lost control over the vehicle and hit the boy, who flung in the air and fell seven steps down.

The car and the shop though were severely damaged in the incident.

Background

Around 20 people were killed and several others injured when a bus plunged into Chambal river near Devri in Madhya Pradesh on June 1.

On May 21, five employees of software major Infosys had died, while 23 others wounded when a bus carrying them met accident in Karnataka's Belgaum.
