UAE Air Force Plane with Arms on Board Detained in Kolkata

Sep 7, 2009: An UAE air force plane that made an emergency landing at Kolkata airport for refuelling on Sunday was detained for carrying arms and explosives without declaring them.

 

The aircraft was flying from Abu Dhabi to Hanyang in China.

 

The pilot and eight others are being questioned by the security agencies.
