Businessman Kanubhai aka Deewansaheb has handed over the reins of his business to his son-in-law Mahendra.

Mahendra knows that Deewansaheb has much more wealth than he claims to have. He brings home a servant named Mohan to keep an eye on the family members and keep him posted about everything that transpires between family members.

Gaurav, Deewansaheb's only son, is more interested in cricket than in business. Mahendra runs the business according to whims and fancies and regularly swindles money.

Sushma, Deewansaheb's neighbor, is in love with Dr Pankaj Gandhi. Deewansaheb plays the role of mediator between Sushma and her father and supports Pankaj as the perfect life partner for Sushma.
