Years fly past. Anand grows and is admitted to a boarding school. On the day of his return from boarding school, Amal's car meets with an accident when he goes to Panchgini to pick up his son. Amal dies on the spot, leaving a shattered Lopa behind.

Anand grows up to look exactly like his father, Amal. One day, Anand brings home Deepak, the old neighbor of Rachna and Lopa. Deepak is a psychiatrist and wishes to treat Rachna. One day, Rachna starts recalling her past and addresses Anand as Amal.

To treat Rachna, Deepak and Anand recreate the scene that had taken place years ago between Lopa and Rachna. Rachna recalls everything and reveals that Lopa wanted to snatch Amal from her.

Lopa accuses Rachna of trying to shoot her, but Rachna recalls every detail of that incident. Rachna is shattered when Anand tells her that Amal has passed away. The shock is too heavy for Rachna and she, too, passes away.
