The tug of war between Jaya and Madhur gets intense. Madhur is not deterred by Jaya's attempts to stop him from going on his honeymoon with Rekha. However, destiny intervenes and Madhur has to postpone his honeymoon plans.
Days pass. Rekha starts wilting under the pressure of domestic responsibilities. While Rekha's life has become miserable, Jaya is enjoying herself to the hilt. Madhur is jealous of Jaya and Suchak's increasing proximity. He wants to separate Jaya and Suchak.
Madhur now shows more interest in Jaya than ever before. Rekha feels insecure seeing Madhur trying to patch up with Jaya. Madhur tries his best to woo Jaya back, but fails.A stubborn Jaya, leaves home with Suchak to start a new life.

A hilarious Gujarati play directed by Vipul Mehta, Parnine Pastaya, revolves around Jaya (Ketaki Dave), a typical house wife and her romantic husband Madhur (Rasik Dave).
Madhur wants Jaya to look fashionable and be as romantic as him. But Jaya, who is bogged down with daily chores, has no time for romance and refuses to oblige Madhur.
Fed-up, Madhur woos his secretary Rekha, and even goes to the extent of marrying her.
Suchak (Mukesh Rawal), Jaya's best friend and well-wisher, advises her to teach Madhur a lesson of his life. Jaya therefore announces her retirement and passes on the baton of responsibilities to Rekha.
