Vaishali agrees to allow Sneha marry Neil, but in return, she asks Sneha to leave her baby. Sneha is devastated and refuses to part with the baby.
Sneha gives birth to a baby boy. On the day of the naming ceremony, Vaishali reveals to Sneha that she wanted to ascertain if Neil would accept her with an open mind and hence her opposition to the marriage.
During Sneha's pregnancy, Vaishali had seen Neil maturing. From being Sneha's best friend he had grown into a loving caretaker, understanding his duties and responsibilities towards Sneha. Sneha too was now mentally prepared to accept Neil as her husband.
She therefore felt that time had come for Sneha and Neil to marry.
