Nisha is pregnant. Instead of feeling happy, Nayan expresses disappointment, as he is not ready to bear the additional financial burden. However, Dinanath supports Nisha.
On Nisha's birthday, Nayan and Nisha go out to watch a movie. When they return, they gift a chain for Dinanath's pocket watch. Unknown to them, Dinanath has bought a pendant for Nisha as her birthday gift. Tears well up in everyone's eyes when Dinanath reveals he sold his pocket watch to buy the pendant. Nisha reveals she sold off her pendant to buy the chain for Dinanath's watch.
That night, Dinanath writes a letter to Nayan and Nisha. He keeps the letter in a notebook and leaves the house.
Back in Delhi, Neil gets arrested for taking a bribe from Ujwal. Chhotu mama saves Neil. An arrogant Neil, however, orders everyone including his mother out of the house. Â
At the precise moment, Dinanath arrives. He announces his decision to live the rest of his life with Rama at their village home.

Dinanath (Pratap Sachdev) and his wife Rama (Shachi Joshi) hope to spend the remaining years of their lives with their sons, Neil (Vipul Vithlani) and Nayan (Rajul Deewan).
When they express the wish, Neil and Nayan refuse. The two sons instead decide to separate their parents. Rama will stay with Neil and Dinanath with Nayan, they suggest.
