In the May 17 episode of Derani Jethani aired on Zee Gujarati, Manisha invites Usha and Barkha to participate in Mumbai Beauty Queen contest. The winning prize is a diamond-studded necklace worth lakhs. Moreover, they will also have a chance to participate in Mrs. World and Mrs. Universe contests. The duo is ecstatic.

 

The duo embarks on their preparation. Usha gets busy working on her face, while Barkha starts tending her hair. Fiercely competitive they both derail each other's preparations putting a question mark on their participation.

 

But none is ready to give up yet. The final blow comes when they are informed that they will have to wear a bikini during the show. Not willing to wear one, they both agree to give up their obstinacy, and forget becoming Mrs. Mumbai.
