In the February 5 episode of Jhansi Ki Rani aired on Zee TV, Samar Singh informs Manu that Lachu and Farazer are planning to kill Gangadhar Rao during the play and that Lachu will be hitting him with a poisonous arrow.
Manu manages to inform Tatyaguru about Lachu and Frazer's plan. She also informs him that Motibai is planning to marry Gangadhar Rao. Manu requests Tatyaguru to keep an eye on Lachu while she handles Motibai.
During the play, Lachu prepares to kill Gangadhar Rao by hitting the man that Motibai (Damyanti) will garland.
A woman enters the makeup room and is shocked to see Motibai lying unconscious on the floor.
It is then revealed that it is not Motibai but Manu who is on the stage and enacting the swayamvar (marriage) scene.

Jhansi Ki Rani is a historical show on Zee TV (Mon-Fri 8pm) based on the life and times of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi.
