Jasoda gets alarmed on seeing Reet at the hospital in the July 28 episode of Mera Naam Karegi Roshan aired on Zee TV. Jasoda rushes to warn Lochan and asks him to shift Thakur back to his bed. Reet rushes to the duty nurse and asks where the Thakur was. She is surprised when the nurse reveals that the Thakur was on his bed.

Another shock awaits Reet, when she reaches the ward and finds Thakur on the bed. Jasoda is at his side fanning him. Jasoda feigns surprise on seeing Reet. She dismisses Reet's claims about Thakur missing from his bed. Jasoda asserts the Thakur was always in the ward and she had spent the entire time fanning him.

The next day, Jasoda informs Kunwar that their plan could have succeeded if only Reet had not barged in. Kunwar asks if Reet had seen her or Lochan. Jasoda denies but reveals Lochan's chain and locket were discovered by Reet. Kunwar is enraged; however, Jasoda pacifies her husband. She assures to destroy the evidence which could implicate Lochan and them.

Kunwar is more worried about what to do with his father now that he had survived two attempts on his life. Jasoda suggests taking Thakur home. She points out to Kunwar that at the hospital, they always had to fear people but at home they could carry out the plan easily.

Kunwar finds merit in her suggestion. He suggests shifting Thakur home and to his relief, Thakur also agrees. Everyone is happy. Reet rushes to the temple to thank the Gods for saving her father's life.

Inspector Yagya is on the way to meet Thakur when he catches a thief and beats him up. Reet rebukes him for assaulting a poor man, not realizing that he was in fact a thief. The woman whose purse was stolen by the thief thanks Yagya profusely. Reet learns the truth and feels guilty for having misunderstood the officer.

When Yagya tries to meet the Thakur, Jasoda stops him. He leaves a message for the Thakur and leaves. Jasoda throws it away. However, Reet picks it up and learns that the inspector's name is Yagya. Yagya prayed for the Thakur's speedy recovery.

Show Story

Mera Naam Karegi Roshan is a story of the Thakur family which lives in Sammanpur, a few km from Ayodhya. This story is the soul of Ramayan placed in the backdrop of Ayodhya where a 20-year-old girl Reet idolises Lord Ram.

Reet's father Thakur Veer Pratap Singh is idolised as Lord Dashrath in the village but his own sons disrespect him, which hurts him a lot.

Reet, the youngest daughter of Thakur sahib, learns her first lesson of Ramayan at the age of seven when Thakur Sahib tells her that Lord Rama obeyed his father and went to the jungle for 14 years.

Reet obeys every wish of her father. Her father while dying asks her for a promise which after his death she fulfils. How her own family abandons her and she is left alone only because she fulfilled the last wishes of her father.

The story is about Reet's fight with her own brothers and how she copes up with it.
