In the year 2006, history was created with the show that brought laughter to Bengal - Mirakkel. Mirakkel Akkel Challenger 5 (Thu - Sat 9.30 pm) marks the return on Zee Bangla of the Badshah of all comedy shows.

The original power house of humor Mirakkel will be back on December 31, 2009 with Mir as the anchor of the show that will be judged by the stalwarts of comedy - Paran Bandyopadhyay, Sreelekha Mitra and Rajatava Dutta.

This is the fifth season of Mirakkel Akkel Challenger, with participants across the age group of 4-77 yrs. Participants are from across India from places like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, West Bengal and Dhaka.

Mirakkel Akkel Challenger 5 will also have fair dose of special episodes witnessing celebrities like Raima Sen, Soha Ali Khan, Kharaj Mukhopadhyay and others.
