Nov 11, 2008, Tue (2^nd Semi Final) Hyderabad Heroes beat Royal Bengal Tigers by six wickets in a day and night encounter on Tuesday at the Sardar Vallabhai Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad to enter the finals of ICL 20-20 Indian Championship, 2008/09.

Stuart Binny (45) steered the Heroes to victory in a thriller.

Binny's knock contained four sixes and two boundaries

Heroes openers James Maher (14) and Ibrahim Khaleel (32) gave Heroes a good start as they put on 44 runs for the first wicket.

But, Lance Klusener sent them both back to the pavilion.

Abdul Razzaq (26) also chipped in with a useful knock.

Tigers started disastrously as they lost three wickets with only 10 runs on board after 4.1 overs.

But, Rohan Gavaskar (78) and Klusener (74) came together at this stage and consolidated Tigers position as they put on 145 runs for the fourth wicket.

Gavaskar's knock had six boundaries and four sixes and came off 47 balls, while Klusener scored his runs off 54 balls with four fours and four sixes.

Abdul Razzaq was the most economical bowler for Heroes with figure of one for 16 off four overs.

Boje conceded 38 runs off four overs to be their most expensive bowler.

Binny was adjudged man of the match.
