In the February 2 episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus, Naitik's blatant disrespect for Akshara makes Shaurya furious. He decides to meet Naitik and have a word with him about treating his wife. But Dadi and Rajshri forbid him from saying anything to Naitik.

Vishambhar finds out about the incident on the road and the effect it has had on Akshara. Vishambhar says that the decision he made was to keep Akshara's self-respect intact; but if she wants he can change his decision and allow her to return home. But Akshara knows that her father made the right decision and she too stands by it.

Gayatri notices that ever since Akshara has left, Naitik is experiencing misery. She asks Naitik to get over his anger and bring Akshara back. Will Naitik meet Akshara and bring her back?

Produced by Rajan Shahi's Director's Kut, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is aired Monday to Friday on Star Plus. Set in rural Rajasthan, the serial tells the story of Akshara (Hina Khan), a simple girl born in a conservative Marwari family.

For Akshara, life has never moved beyond her mother, father and grandmother. Her alliance with Naitik catapults the shy and obedient girl amidst people she has never seen or interacted before. Akshara is surrounded by new relationships, emotions and situations that are beyond comprehension. Life moves on and along the way, Akshara discovers what it is to fall in love and how to endure the trials and tribulations of life.

Besides Hina Khan, other main actors in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai include Karan Mehra, Vineeta Malik, Sanjeev Seth, Lataa Saberwal, Manu Malik, Neelima Taadepalli, Pooja Joshi, Ather Habib and Aman Sharma.
